About the event

Winter asks a lot of us. The days are darker, energy is lower, and many of us are quietly carrying the weight of responsibility, uncertainty, and emotional fatigue. This four-hour afternoon 'mini' retreat is an invitation to be held — without needing to explain, fix, or push through.

Quiet Holding offers a gentle nervous system reset through soothing movement, simple breath practices, guided rest, and quiet reflection. Designed for women who are tired but still showing up, this experience creates a soft place to land — a reminder that rest is not something we earn, but something that helps us stay.

You’ll be guided through practices that calm the body, settle the mind, and gently restore a sense of ease and gratitude. There is no expectation to feel a certain way — only permission to arrive exactly as you are, put the weight down for a while, and allow yourself to…

We acknowledge we are on Treaty 6 Territory the traditional and ancestral territory of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux and Nakota Sioux, and the homeland of the Métis. We pay our respect to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this place and reaffirm our relationship with one another. We respect the privilege of being on this land and enjoy sharing in it's beauty and blessings.
