About the event

As we continue to enjoy the tail end of the Beaver Moon that is illuminating the November sky, we gather to ground, release, and rebuild from within. Through mindful movement, meditation, breathwork, and reflection, you’ll reconnect to your body’s wisdom and awaken your inner resilience. This weekend offers a sacred pause before winter—a time to root deeply into what sustains you and rise with renewed energy, clarity, and purpose.

Nestled on a tranquil acreage surrounded by whispering trees and open sky, Root to Rise invites you to align with the transformative energy of the change in seasons. Over this rejuvenating weekend, immerse yourself in mindful yoga sessions held in a light-filled studio encircled by windows and skylights, where natural light and movement flow together. Between practices, enjoy reflective walks along forested trails, soak in the hot tub or unwind in the warmth of the sauna, and gather by the firepit…

We acknowledge we are on Treaty 6 Territory the traditional and ancestral territory of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux and Nakota Sioux, and the homeland of the Métis. We pay our respect to the First Nations and Métis ancestors of this place and reaffirm our relationship with one another. We respect the privilege of being on this land and enjoy sharing in it's beauty and blessings.
